TO UNC'S
Keith “Unc” Simington’s love for food started long before there was a food truck. Raised in New York and spending summers in North Carolina with his grandmother Rose, Keith grew up surrounded by family members who knew their way around a kitchen.
His grandmother, mother, uncles, and other family members helped shape his love for cooking. His mother encouraged him to learn to cook for himself because she believed he should always be able to make himself a good meal.
Years later, after a career in IT and engineering, Keith knew he was ready for something different. He wanted to build something around a passion that never felt like work.
And Unc’s Wings & Things was born...
